Following the publication today of the Commission on Race and Ethnic Disparities report, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow has reaffirmed the report highlights two of the College’s priority areas outlined in its recent manifesto.
Professor Jackie Taylor, President of the College said:
“Our manifesto clearly states that the College’s areas of priority for Government to urgently address are workforce, wellbeing, inclusivity, health inequalities and diversity.
“I am a passionate believer in championing inclusion, diversity and wellbeing of health care professionals all over the world.
“We as a College are committed to ensuring everyone is treated fairly. I am proud of our newly formed Inclusion Advisory Group and the calls made to government contained in our manifesto.”
