Following the recent Getting It Right First Time review of endocrinology, variations in the current practice of endocrine surgery across the UK were identified. The Joint Surgical Colleges initiated a review of surgical practice, with representation from all of the Royal Colleges and relevant Specialty Societies.
The Intercollegiate Endocrine Surgery Review has now reported on the key areas of training, surgical activity, audit and appraisal.
