Christine Skinner has taken up her post as Dean of the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine following the faculty’s Annual General Meeting yesterday evening (Wednesday 24th June 2020). She is the first female Dean of the Faculty to be elected by its membership.
Professor Graham Ogden, the College’s most senior dentist, has been awarded the 2019 IADR Distinguished Scientist Award in Oral Medicine & Pathology Research Award, one of the highest awards in dental research.
Andrew Edwards, FDSRCPS MBChB FRCS FRCS (OMFS) has taken up post as the new Dean-Elect of the College’s Dental faculty. Mr Edwards is also the Director of Dental Examinations, International Associate Director establishing overseas education and training and a Regional Advisor for the North West of England for the College.
Jane Chiodini MSc, RGN, RM, FFTM RCPS(Glasg) QN has taken up post as the new Dean of the College’s Faculty of Travel Medicine. Ms Chiodini is the first woman and the first nurse to hold this position in the College.
