A new exams centre for MRCS Part B will open in New Delhi, with the first exams running from 1-3 May 2024.

On behalf of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, President, Professor Jackie Taylor has sent a message of support to all colleagues in India and their families around the world.

Our College awards the President’s Medal each year to mark outstanding work by one of our Members or Fellows. This year’s recipient was Balram Bhargava, Professor of Cardiology at All India Institute of Medical Sciences and was featured in the latest edition of our membership magazine “voice”. Dr V Mohan, MD, FRCP, Ph.D. D.Sc is the Chairman and Chief Diabetologist, Dr. Mohan’s Diabetes Specialities Centre Director, Madras Diabetes Research Foundation, Chennai, India. Dr Mohan is the first recipient of the College’s Clinical Leadership Award which was awarded in May 2019.

Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (deemed university) has signed a Partnership Agreement with our College to collaborate on education and examination activity alongside faculty development.

The College’s Faculty of Podiatric Medicine has partnered with the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Tamil Nadu (TN) to help combat the growing need for education in podiatric medical education in the country.

College President to attend the 73rd Annual Conference of the Association of Physicians of India.

In partnership with the Tamil Nadu State Branch of the India Medical Association (IMA), the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine is piloting a blended learning course for doctors treating foot pathologies.
